Heya mate... let's do it

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

step 1) find the area of both inner and outer circle

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1st circle's area = ?

diameter = 8 cm

radius = diameter/2

= 8/2

= 4

Area of a circle = πr^2

= 3.14 x 4 x 4

= 50.24

Hence, the area of the circle is 50.24 cm^2

area of 2nd circle = ?

radius = diameter/2 = 10/2 = 5cm

area of circle = πr^2

so area = 22/7*5*5

area = 550/7 = 78.571428cm^2

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

step 2) subtract both the areas and u will get the shadded part's area

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

= 78.57 - 54.24

= 28.33 is the area of the shaded part

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

have a great day ahead bro...
