Answer:

diameter of circle = 9 metre.

radius of circle = 9/2 = 4.5 metre.

Area of whole circle = 22/7 * (4.5)^2

area of whole circle = 22/7 * 20.25

= 63.64 metre sq.

diameter of smaller circle of = 7 metre

radius of smaller circle = 3.5 metre.

area of smaller circle = 22/7 * 3.5 * 3.5

= 38.5 metre sq.

Shaded part = Area of larger circle - area of smaller circle

shaded part = 63.64 - 38.5

= 25.24 metre square
