First by Pythagoras theorem find the missing side of the triangle.

AB* + BC* = AC* (*means square)

AC = 35

area of triangle + area of semi circle (AC) - the area of the quadrant

1/2 X 21 X 28 + π X 17.5 X 17.5 - 1/4 X π X 21 X 21

Area of triangle=>1/2 * 21 * 28=294cm².

AC=√(28+21)²

AC=√49²

AC=49cm

So, area of semicircle around it's hypotenuse:-

1/2πr²=>1/2π(49/2)²=1/2*22/7*49*49/4

=943.25cm²

And, area of small semicircle=

1/2πr²=1/2*22/7*21*21=693

therefore,area of shaded region=294+943.25-693=544.25cm²
