Area of Triangle= 1/2 ×base×height.

=1/2×49

24.5

By pythagoras theorem,

RQ²=PQ²+RP²

= 49

RQ =7

RO=OQ =1/2×RQ.......radius is half the diameter

=3.5

Area of semicircle=22/7×3.5×3.5/2....by formula

=19.25

Area of shaded portion= 77-19.25

=57.75

Answer:

Area of the given traingle = 1/2 . Base . Height

  1. area of pqr = 1/2 .7 .7 = 49 / 2
  2. area of half circle = πr² = 22/7 .49.= 154
  3. area of half circle = 154/2 = 77
  4. AREA OF SHADED REIGON= 154-(77+49/2)= 154 - 101.5 = 52 .5 ans.
