Given:

  • Principal =1800 rupees
  • Rate = \sf3\dfrac{1}{2}%
  • Time = \sf2\dfrac{1}{2}years

To Find:

  • Simple Interest =?

Solution:

Given,

  • P = 1800
  • R =\sf3\dfrac{1}{2}%
  • T=\sf2\dfrac{1}{2} years

As we know that

{\qquad}{\sf{\underline{\boxed{\red{ \sf{simple \: interest =  \frac{prt}{100}}}}}}}

Now put the values

 \:  \sf \implies \: simple \: interest =  \frac{1800 \times 7 \times  5}{100 \times 2 \times 2}  \\  \\  \:  \sf \implies \: simple \: interest =  \frac{315}{2}  = 157.50 \: rupees

 {\therefore}{\small{\sf{\underline{hence \: simple \: interest \: is \: 157.50 \: rupees}}}}
