Given;

  • P = 4500 Rs.
  • R = 15/4
  • T = 3yrs 4 months

4 months = 4/12 year => 1/3 year.

Thus total time T ;

3 +  \frac{1}{3}  \\  \frac{9 + 1}{3}  \\  \frac{10}{3} years

T = 10/3 years

Thus for SI ;

SI \:  =  \frac{PRT}{100}  \\  =  \frac{4500 \times  \frac{15}{4} \times  \frac{10}{3}  }{100}  \\  =  \frac{4500 \times 15 \times 10}{100 \times 12}  \\  \\  =  \frac{45 \times 15 \times 10}{12}  \\  =  \frac{45 \times 5 \times 10}{4}  \\  =   \frac{225 \times 10}{4}  \\  =  \frac{2250}{4}  \\  = 562.5 \: Rs.
