Given that

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

=> Length = 16 cm

=> breadth = 9 cm
Area ( square ) = area ( rectangle )

=> (Side )^2 = length x breadth

=> ( Side )^2 = 16cm ×9 cm

=> (Side)^2 = 144 cm ^2

=> Side = 12 cm

So the side of square is 12 cm

Hey user, here is your answer...

Find the side of a square whose area is equal to the area of a rectangle with sides 9 cm and 16 cm.

▶Length of the Rectangle = 16 cm

▶Breadth of the Rectangle = 9 cm

▶Area of the Rectangle,

= Length x Breadth

= 16 x 9

= 144 cm^2

▶According to the Question:-

▶Area of the Square = Area of the Rectangle

▶Therefore, Area of the Square = 144 cm^2

Side of the Square
 = \sqrt{(side \times side)} \\ = \sqrt{ {(side)}^{2} } \\ = \sqrt{ {144 \: cm}^{2} } \\ = 12 \: cm

▶Hence, the side of the Square is equal to 12 cm.
