Diagonal of a square = root 2 x side

So, root 2 x side = 16 root 2

side = 16 (root 2 will divide each other)

let side of square  =  x cm

diagonal of square = 16√2 cm

∴  diagonal of square = side² × √2

16√2 = x²√2

x = √16 = 4 cm

side of square = 4 cm
