Diagonal = d cm = 40cm

a = d/√2

a = 40/ √2 cm

a = ( 40 × √2 ) /( √2 × √2 ) cm

a = ( 40√2 ) /2

a = 20√2 cm

Therefore ,

Side of the square = a = 20√2 cm
