Explanation:

Question :-

  • Find the side of a square whose perimeter is 16 cm.

To Find :-

  • Side of square.

Solution :-

Given :

  • Perimeter = 16 cm

By using the formula,

{\sf{\longrightarrow Perimeter\ of\ square\ =\ 4a}}

Where,

  • a = length of the side

According to the question, by using the formula, we get :

{\sf{\longrightarrow Perimeter\ of\ square\ =\ 4a}}

{\sf{\longrightarrow 16\ =\ 4a}}

{\sf{\longrightarrow \dfrac{16}{4}\ =\ a}}

{\sf{\longrightarrow 4\ =\ a}}

{\sf{\longrightarrow a\ =\ 4\ cm}}

\therefore Hence, side of square is 4 cm.
