Area of equilateral∆ is given as = √3/4 × side²

Here, side = 8 cm

=> area = √3/4 × 8²

=> area = √3/4 × 64

=> area = 16√3 cm²

Since the actual area is 16√3 cm² and not 20√3 cm², the given sentence is false.

If you put 20√3 as area, then

20√3 = √3/4 × side²

=> side² = 20√3 × 4/√3

=> side² = 80

=> side = √80

but side is 8 cm and 8 ≠ √80
