Find the side of an equilateral triangle whose perimeter is equal to the perimeter of a square of side 9 cm . Give brief step by step answer in paper and show i will give brainliest...........

Hi there!

Your Answer :- 12 cm.

Let the side be x ...... -(1)

Perimeter of Equilateral Triangle :-

x + x + x = 3x.

Perimeter of Square = Perimeter of Triangle.

Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side.

Side of Square = 9.

Perimeter =

\sf\red{4 \times 9 = 36cm}

As per Equation,

\sf\blue{3x = 36cm}

Divide 36 by 3.

\sf\green{ x =  \frac{36}{3}}

\sf\underline\pink{x = 12cm}

So, the side is 12 cm -- From (1).
