  • The perimeter is 36 cm

  • Perimeter of square = perimeter of equilateral triangle

We have to find the side of equilateral triangle.

According to question,

According to the question,

The perimeter of equilateral triangle = The perimeter of square.

The perimeter of equilateral triangle = 3a

The perimeter of square = 4a

The side of square = 9 cm.

➝ 4 a

➝ 4 × 9

36 cm

The perimeter of equilateral triangle = 3a

➝ 3a = 36

➝ a = 36/ 3

a = 12 cm.

Hence, The side of equilateral triangle is 12 cm.
