Find the side of square which has the same area as a area of Rhombus of side 16 cm and height 4cm.

Given :-

  • Square has the same area as a area of Rhombus.
  • Rhombus of side 16 cm and height 4cm.

Find :-

  • Side of square.

Solution :-

Area of rhombus = Base × Height

So,

➤ 16 × 4

➤ 64 cm²

As per the Question :-

⇒ Area of square = Area of Rhombus .

⇒ ( Side ) ² = 64

⇒ Side = √64

Hence ,

Side of a square = 8 cm .
