let the side of square be x

diagonal=16√2----given

from the property of square,

diagonals bisects square in two trinagles.

from Pythagoras theorem,

(16√2)²=x²+x²

256×2=2x²

512=2x²

x²=256

x=16

Therefore, the side of a sqaure is 16units....
