Given :-

  • Surface area of a cube is 600 cm²

To Find :-

  • Side of that cube

Solution :-

~Here, we're given the surface area of a cube and we need to find the side of that cube. We can easily find the side of the cube by putting the values in the formula of surface area.

_____________

As we know that ,

Surface area of cube = 6 × ( Side )²

 Finding the side :-

⟶ 6 × ( Side )² = 600

⟶ ( Side )² = 600 ÷ 6

⟶ ( Side )² = 100

⟶ Side = √100

⟶ Side = 10 cm

_____________

Hence,

  • Side of that cube is 10 cm

Given :

  • Shape = Cube
  • Total Surface Area of Cube = 600cm²

 \\

To Find :

  • Side of Cube

 \\

Solution :

✰ As we know that, Total Surface Area of Cube is given by 6 × (side)² . Now in this question, Total Surface Area of Cube is given and we have to find the side of the cube. So simply we will put the given values in the formula to find the side of the cube.

⟶⠀TSA of Cube = 6 × (side)²

⟶⠀600 = 6 × (side)²

⟶⠀600/6 = (side)²

⟶⠀100 = (side)²

⟶⠀√100 = side

⟶⠀10cm = side

So, Side of Cube is 10cm

What if we need Volume of Cube also ?

⟶⠀Volume of Cube = (side)³

⟶⠀Volume of Cube = side × side × side

⟶⠀Volume of Cube = 10 × 10 × 10

⟶⠀Volume of Cube = 10 × 100

⟶⠀Volume of Cube = 1000cm³

So, Volume of Cube is 1000cm³
