Principal (P) = Rs.256

Rate (R) = 4% per annum

Time (T) = 2 years

Simple Interest (SI) = PRT/100

=> SI = 256 × 4 × 2/100

=> SI = Rs.20.48

Amount = P+SI = Rs.(256+20.48) = Rs.276.48
