the equation of simple interest is P×R×T the whole divided by 100.

So

its 3500 ×6×5/100

cut off the zeroes in 3500 and 100

=35×6×5/1

=35×30/1

therefore the interest is 1050 rupees

the amount is the interest added to the principal which is 1050 +3500

=4550 rupees
