Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Rs 10,000 deposited for 5 years at interest of 2%

To find:-

Find the simple Interest?

Solution:-

Given that

Deposited money = Rs. 10,000

Principle (P) = Rs. 10,000

Rate of Interest (R) = 2%

Time (T) = 5 years

We know that

Simple Interest (I) = PTR/100

On Substituting these values in the above formula

=> I = (10000×5×2)/100

=>I = 100000/100

=> I = Rs. 1000

or if you gave deposited money

Rs.10.000 like this

(. decimal not a comma ,)

Principle = Rs. 10

Simple Interest = PTR/100

=> 10×2×5/100

=> 100/100

=> Rs. 1

SI = Rs. 1

Answer:-

The simple Interest for the given problem is

Rs. 1000

Used formula:-

  • Simple Interest (I) = PTR/100
  • P = Principle
  • T = Time
  • R= Rate of interest
