Here,

Principal (P) = Rs 4000

Rate of interest (R) = 7.5% p.a.

= (15 / 2) % p.a.

Time (T) = 3 years 3 months

Hence,

Simple Interest (I) = (P × R × T) / 100

= Rs {4000 × (15 / 2) × (13 / 4)} / 100

= Rs (4000 × 15 × 13) / (100 × 2 × 4)

On simplification, we get,

= Rs 5 × 15 × 13

= Rs 975

Therefore,

Amount = P + I

= Rs 14000 + Rs 975

= RS 14, 975
