Given,

  • Principle = ₹5500
  • Rate of Interest = 14%
  • Time = 3 years

To find ;

✿ Amount and Simple Interest ✿

Formulae to be used -

  •  \red{SI = \frac{P \times R \times T}{100}}

  •  \red{Amount = P + SI}

Solution !!

P = ₹5500

R = 14%

T = 3 years

 \red{SI = \frac{P \times R \times T}{100}}

 SI = \frac{55\cancel{00} \times 14 \times 3}{1\cancel{00}}

 \red{SI = ₹2310}

Amount = P + SI

= ₹5500 + ₹2310

= ₹7810

So, Simple Interest = ₹2310 and Amount = ₹7810
