Hi friend,

Here is your answer,

Let the Market price be 100 .
First discount  =  20%
Selling price after first discount = (1- ²⁰/₁₀₀)*100
                                                  = ⁸⁰/₁₀₀ * 100
                                                  = 80
Second discount = 5%
Selling price after second discount = (1-⁵/₁₀₀)*80
                                                        = ⁹⁵/₁₀₀* 80
                                                        = 76

So, If there are two continuous of 20% and 5% , then it is equivalent to a single discount of (100-76)% = 24%

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU !!
PLS MARK AS THE BRAINLIEST !!
