Find the single equivalent increase ,if a number is successively increased by 20% 25% and 30%

let the number be 100 then after the first increase of 20% the new number is 120.

then after the second increase in the no. of 25% the new no. is 120*25/ +120
=120*1/4=30+120
therefore the new no. is 150

the after the third increase of 30%
the new no.is 150*30/+150
=45+150
=195

Now the first no. was 100.
new no.is 195
therefore the successive increase is (195-100)%
=95%.
