a) As per vector rules, The bet resultant will be in direction of the stronger force i.e. 12N and the net force will be 7N.
b) If at 90 degrees,
Magnitude = Root (a^2+b^2+2abcosx)
as cos90 = 0
so,
= Root (25 + 144)
= Root (169)
= 13
