Let's user the general equation of a straight line:

y = mx + c

Where, m = slope of the line and c = y-intercept

Rearanging your equation, we get

3y = -2x - 5

Or, y = -(2/3)x - (5/3)

Comparing the rearranged equation to the general equation, we get,

m = -2/3. Therefore, slope of the line = -2/3

To find the x intercept, simply put y = 0,

We get x = -5/2. This is your x intercept.
