❇️ given equation of line

x+2y = 0

for y intercept put X = 0

and for X intercept put y = 0

you get

X intercept = 0

and y intercept = 0

❇️slope of line

x+2y = 0

y = -x/2 +0. .....(1)

y=mx+c. ....(2)

where m= slope of line

and c= y intercept

on comparing EQUATION (1) with (2)

you get slope = -1/2

I hope it helps you
