Question:-

Find the slope of a line joining the points (-6,1) and (-3,2).

Solution:-

Given points= (-6,1) and (-3,2)

Therefore, slope =

 =  \frac{2 - 1}{ - 3 - ( - 6)}  \\  =  \frac{1}{ - 3 + 6}  \\  =  \frac{1}{3}

Hence, shown.

Slope formula:-

slope =  \frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}
