Hey there!
In the equation y = mx + c, m is the slope.
So,
2x + y = 3
y = -2x + 3 .
So, This is in the form of y = mx + c
Comparing both,
We get m = -2 .
Therefore,
Slope of the equation is - 2

heya...!
there are two methods to find the slope of this line :-
METHOD 1.
compare the equation with ax + by +c
now,comparing we get,
a = 2 ,b = 1 .
thus,
slope =
so,slope here will be = -2.
remember :- this method is very useful in coordinate geometry because there is no use of solving it.Just divide the coefficient of x with y and write it negative.
METHOD 2
2x + y = 3
y = -2x + 3
comparing it with y = mx + c ,
we get slope = -2.
this method is somewhat time consuming .so,better follow method 1.
thanks
