Find the slope of the line passing through the given two points.
(i) A(-1.4,-3.7) and B(-2.4,1.3)
(ii) (a,0) and (0,b)

say (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is given by...

m \: = \frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}

Using this we can find the slope of line passing thought (3,-2) and (-1,4) as..

m \: = \: \frac{4 - ( - 2)}{ - 1 - 3} \\ = > m \: = \frac{6}{ - 4} = \frac{ - 3}{2}
