Since y= mx + c

Therefore, x- y/2 + 3= 0

2x-y+6=0

=> y= 2x + 6

Therefore slope of the given line is 2.

When lines are perpendicular,

product of slope are -1.

Therefore, 2 x m' = -1

m' = -1/2

So slope of line perpendicular to the given line is-1/2.
