LCM of 7 and 8 = 56

⇒ -2/7 = -16/56, -3/8 = -21/56

now, because these are negative rational numbers; the number with smaller value on the numerator will be the greater number

so, -16/56 > -21/56

∴ -2/7 is greater than -3/8
