Simple...Do lcm of 20 25 nd 30...u will get 300.So ur answer is 300
But in book an is 50
it is wrong
cuz u can never get 30 cm in 50 cm

for finding smallest length of rope which can be cut into pieces of 20cm,25cm,30cm we find the lcm of 20,25and 30
lcm of 20,25,30 = 300
so the length of rope will be 300cm or 3m
