find the smallest number by which 125 must be multiplied so that it become a perfect square also find the square root of perfect square so obtained


Anonymous: 125 = 5×25
=5×5×5
=(5×5)×5
=125×5
=5×5×5×5
= 2(5*5)
So, the square root of 125*5 is 5*5
= 25.

Prime factors of 125 =5×5×5
Making pair (5×5)×5
To be perfect square clearly we should multiply it by 5
Now the square root of obtained no is { sq root (5×5)×(5×5)}
Sq root (25×25)
Sq root (25)^2
Root and square can be cancelled
Hence the answer is 25
