We know that for a number to be divisible by 5, the last digit must end in, '5' or a '0'

136 + 4 = 140

Since it ends in a '0' it is now divisible by 5

Thus, the smallest number that must be added to 136 so that it becomes exactly divisible by 5 is: 4
