The smallest number that must be added to 2000 to make it divisible by 10, 20 and 30 is 40.

Verification:

2000 + 40 = 2040.

1) 2040 ÷ 10 = 204.

2) 2040 ÷ 20 = 102.

3) 2040 ÷ 30 = 68.

Hope it helps you.

the number exactly divisible by 10,20,30 are 60 (LCM)

or multiples of 60

now divide 2000 by 60

we get

2000 =33×60 +20

so 40 must be added to be divisible 60 that is divisible by 10,20,30
now u get 2040 =2000 +40
