Solution :-

First we will check near Perfect cubes to 1300 .

→ 10³ = 1000

→ 11³ = 1331

So,

1000 < 1300 < 1331

→ 10³ < 1300 < 1331

Now , it has been asked what number must be added to make it a perfect cube.

Therefore, if we add some number and make is 1331 it will be a perfect cube .

Hence,

Smallest number must be added = 1331 - 1300 = 31.(Ans.)
