Solution:

To find the smallest number we have to find the L.C.M of the given numbers.

3= 3×1
4= 2×2×1
12= 2× 2× 3×1

L.C.M of 3,4 &12 = 2×2×3×1=12

Hence, the smallest number which is divisible by 3, 4 & 12 is 12..

Solution :-

To find the smallest number which is divisible by 3, 4 and 12, we have to compute the L.C.M. of 3, 4 and 12

L.C.M. of 3, 4 and 12

3 = 3*1

4 = 2*2*1

12 = 2*2*3*1

L.C.M. of 3, 4 and 12 = 2*2*3

= 12

Hence, 12 is the required smallest number, which is divisible by 3, 4 and 12
