If the difference between the divisor and the remainder is SAME, then there is aneasy way of solving the remainder questions.

In this question,

divisor is 28 and remainder is 8. Difference is 20 (28-8)

divisor is 32 and remainder is 12. Difference is 20 (32-12)

You can see that the difference is 20 in both the cases.

Answer Would be:

LCM of divisors - difference ,OR, LCM (28, 32) - 20 = 224 - 20 = 204
