=>first let us find the lcm of 12 ,16 and 18
=>12 =2*2*3
=>16 = 2*2*2*2
=>18 = 2*3*3
lcm = 2*2*2*2*3*3
= 144
now we now that 144 is divisible by 12,16 and 18
=> now we Find the smallest number which when added to 5 is exactly divisible by 12,16, and 18
=>144 - 5
=>139
∴139 is the smallest number which when added to 5 is exactly divisible by 12,16, and 18
