take the LCM of given numbers

LCM of 8,10,12=120

let the number be x

given that when x is divided by 8 10 and 12 gives a Remainder of 4 every time

so x must be 4 more than the least common multiple of the numbers

x=120+4

=124

therefore the smallest number which when divided by 8 10 and 12 gives a Remainder of 4 every time is 124
