Everybody thinks that 11 is the smallest number that can be subtracted from 300 to make a perfect square. But I've found a smaller number!
How about -24 ? When you subtract -24 from 300, you get 324, which is 18 squared. And -24 is definitely smaller than 11. So 11 isn't the smallest number. Nowhere does the question say that the answer has to be positive
