Answer:

2/x+3/y=3

3/x+6/y=5

let's 1/x=a

1/y=b

2a+3b=3

3a+6b=5

equation i×6 & ii×3

12a+18b=18

9a+18b=15

3a=3

a=1

put the value of a in equation i

12a+18b=18

12×1+18b=18

18b=18-12

18b=6

b=6/18

b=1/3

now,

1/x=a 1/y=b

1/x=1 1/y=1/3

x=1 y=3

x=1

y=3
