Given 2 equations We have to add the two equations We can get value of x,y

x + y =10

x - y = 5

_______

2x = 15

________

x = \frac{15}{2}

x + y = 10

\frac{15}{2} + y = 10

y = \frac{15}{2} - 10

y = \frac{-20+15}{2}

y = \frac{-5}{2}

Therefore values of x and y are \frac{15}{2} and \frac{-5}{2}
