Question :-

Find the solution set of 3(x - 2) < 1, where x ∈ { 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 }.

Solution :-

3(x - 2) < 1

3x - 6 < 1

3x < 7

x < ⁷⁄₃

x < 2 ⅓

Solution set = { x : x < 2 ⅓ , x ∈ A }

Where A = { 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 }

∴ { 1, 2 }
