What is the sum of 3+33+333+3333+33333?

Quick method! Just count the number of digits in each of the numbers… Take the common out.

Step 1: 3[1+11+111+1111+11111]

Instead of adding the numbers

Here's a quick method you can adopt.

Now, count the digits in the bracket i.e. one is 1 digit , 11 is 2 digit and the same for rest of the numbers.

Now you have to just put back in the bracket and multiply it with the common factor (here it is 3).

Step 2: 3[12345]

Step 3: Multiply 12345 by 3 and that's the answer.

This is a real quick method you can always implement.

Hope this helps ! Cheers ! :D
