Find the specific heat capacity of a liquid:

1.Mass of the metal piece m1g = 100 g

2.Specific Heat capacity of the metal c1 = 0.4 J / g  C

3.Mass of calorimeter with stirrer m2g = 30 g

4.Specific heat capacity of the calorimeter c2 = 0.39 J/g  C

5.Mass of the liquid (100 x 0.87) m3 = 87 g

6.Initial temperature of the Calorimeter + liquid t1 C = 20 C

7.Temperature of the hot metal t2 C = 100 C

(Same as the temperature of boiling water)

8.Final temperature of the mixture (Calorimeter + liquid + metal) t3C =40 C

9.Specific Heat capacity of the liquid c3 = _____
(the boxes are ° symbols)
