first of all we split the number

84 in two factors

In this way -

80 + 4

we have to find square of this term

= (80 + 4)^2

this is in the form of ( a + b ) ^2

as we know that

= (a + b )^2= a^2 +b^2 + 2ab

= (80 + 4 )^2

= (80)^2 + (4)^2 + 2×80×4

= 6400+ 16 + 640

= 7056
