 Given : \sqrt{1.8}

= \ \textgreater \ \sqrt{ \frac{18}{10} }

= \ \textgreater \ \sqrt{ \frac{9}{5} }

= \ \textgreater \ \frac{ \sqrt{9} }{ \sqrt{5} }

= \ \textgreater \ \frac{3}{ \sqrt{5} }

On rationalizing, we get

= \ \textgreater \   \frac{3}{ \sqrt{5} } *  \frac{ \sqrt{5} }{ \sqrt{5} }

= \ \textgreater \   \frac{3 \sqrt{5} }{ \sqrt{5} *  \sqrt{5}  }

= \ \textgreater \   \frac{3 \sqrt{5} }{5}

= \ \textgreater \   \frac{3 * 2.2360}{5}

= \ \textgreater \   \frac{6.70800}{5}

= > 1.3416.

Hope this helps!
