1221  end with 1           Hence last Digit of square root would be 1 or 9

now 3 < √12 < 4

1st digit would be 3

now  3 * 9  = 27  > 12

Hence  9 can not be 2nd dgit

3 * 1 = 3 < 12

=> 1 would be 2nd digit

√1221 = 31

but √1221 = 34.9

Answer is not correct as this vedic method works
