144-1=143-3=140-5=135-7=128-9=119-11=108-13=95-15=80-17=63-19=44-21=23-23=0
From 144 we need to subtract prime numbers and the no. Of subtractions become the required root i.e 12

step 1 = 144 - 1 =143
step 2 = 143-3=140
step 3=140-5=135
step 4=135-7=128
step 5=128-9=119
step 6=119-11=108
step 7=108-13=95
step 8=95-15=80
step 9=80-17=63
step 10=63-19=44
step 11=44-21=23
step 12=23-23=0

As you can see that given number 144 was repeatedly subtracted by successive odd numbers (starting from 1) and we get zero in 12 step. Therefore 12 is the square root of 144
